This is an e-mail I received that I wanted to share with you. Keith

Keith,

I read in your journal that you are friends with Gary Wise.  Can you give Gary a big thank you?  I wrecked in the OMG and busted up my knee.  I tore three ligaments, broke my fibula and ripped every tendon in and around my knee.  Gary made sure that I was comfortable and also made sure that other bikes went around where I was laying.  Gary stayed with me for quite a while until someone from SORE was on site.    I was very thankful that he took the time to stay with me.  I did not get to see him after the race to thank him.

People like Gary are the reason that desert racing is such a great family event.

Thanks,

Bob Mulligan

This looks like a great area to race

Except for the man eating rocks!

On Saturday the 16th of July The Mayor of NMDRC celebrated his birthday with a party thrown by his family. A few of the NMDRC racers showed up but the police never did. I don't know how old he is but I know he could still race in the 40+ experts but it would not be long before he could enter the over 50 class. Guests were offered the opertunity to get their hair colored Yamaha Blue or a few other colors.
