At the riders meeting Chuck told everyone that there would be a 5min penalty for going over 5mph down pit row. He said he was serious because he was sick of people racing down pit row. Two people were caught in the speed trap. Paul Scroggie and Pat Hudman were both caught being excited at finishing four laps. Pat lifted his legs and bounced on the throttle a bit while Paul popped a wheelie. They were dinged for 5min each for the infractions. Although it was a judgment call on the promoters part as to there speed, Both were caught after the race was over and they had passed the final check point but now remain at large. Beware of the speeders.
